Team Lead C6 Delegated Social Worker

Position Summary:
Team leader C6 Delegated Social Worker is responsible for the management of providing culturally appropriate integration of services to families within the parameters provided by the BC Child, Family and Community Services Act and the Aboriginal Operational and Practice Standards and Indicators (AOPSI).
C6 Delegation Social Worker

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will use a holistic and healing approach to assist families in bringing positive growth into their lives.
Family Preservation Worker
Terrace and Prince Rupert Regions.
Position Summary:
Family Preservation Worker assists families in effectively addressing the emotional, physical, cultural, intellectual and spiritual needs of their children. The overarching purpose of this position is to work with families collaboratively to enhance children's safety and reduce the risk of abuse or neglect.
Guardianship Social Worker
Prince Rupert British Columbia.
Position Summary:
Guardianship Social Worker will be responsible for the cultural, relational, physical, and legal permanence of children in the care through the Agency. She/he will maintain an understanding of traditional processes to ensure the children in care are connected to their culture and adhere to the policy and standards associated with Guardianship and Adoptions delegation.
Out of Care Social Worker
Terrace and Prince Rupert regions.
Position Summary:
Out of Care Worker, is responsible for providing culturally appropriate integration of services to families within the parameters provided by the BC Child, Family and Community Services Act and the Aboriginal Operational Standards and Indicators (AOPSI).This position plays a vital role in supporting children and youth by researching, assessing, and approving Out of Care placements, and providing direct support to care providers
Traditional Family Circle Coordinator
Prince Rupert and Terrace Regions.
Position Summary:
Traditional Family Circle Coordination practices that focus on collaboration or shared planning and decision-making, describes processes such as Mediation, Family Group Conferencing and Traditional Decision-Making. These processes involve family and community members in child welfare decision-making and produce plans and agreements that protect children and youth and address the needs of families
Senior Maintenance Worker
Terrace and Prince Rupert Regions.
Position Summary: The Senior Maintenance worker will provide services to the buildings and grounds of NIFCS at all locations. Ensure all offices and community lighthouses houses are to be kept in safe working order and clean. Leading other maintenance workers in scheduled operations.
Administration Assistant
Terrace and Prince Rupert British Columbia.
Position Summary:
Working with the Social Worker department, you will perform an array of administrative duties, including secretarial and receptionist duties.

Position Summary:

Child and Youth Life Skills Workers
Terrace and Prince Rupert Regions.
Position Summary:
The Child and Youth Life skills workers will promote the advancement of skills to foster cultural and community connections and assist with life routines. Provide emotional, physical and social support while delivering a high standard of life skills to children and youth at risk. Team members will work in small, tight-knit groups, requiring strong interpersonal experience. Provide supervised access services and/or family development support as caseloads require. As part of the Family Programs team at NIFCS, the Child and Youth Life skills Worker regularly collaborates with team members and other colleagues across the organization.
Casual on call Building Maintenance Worker
Terrace and Prince Rupert Regions.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, the Maintenance Workers will work as a team player in providing services to the buildings/grounds of NIFCS to be kept in a clean and safe condition.
